The BSc (Hons) Business Computing program imparts a thorough understanding of how organizations operate using computer systems. Through this program, students will acquire skills in software design and development, and learn to apply scientific and engineering principles to construct computer-based solutions for real-world problems. Graduates of this course will be well-suited for employment in the software industry or in strategic roles that involve utilizing information technology in business. Prospective employers range from consulting firms to government, banks, insurance companies, and institutions engaged in teaching and research. Furthermore, graduates of the BSc (Hons) Business Computing program will be fully accredited by the British Computer Society, meeting the educational requirements for Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP) status, the Society’s professional member level.
