The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD)
UOWD is an offshore campus of the UOWD, United Arab Emirates. Established in 1993, UOWD is located in the Dubai Knowledge Park and serves over 3,500 students from more than 108 countries. It is the first foreign university to open a campus in the UAE and was officially incorporated as the UOWD in 2004. The Campus is situated at the university of wollongong in dubai building in Dubai Knowledge Village, with a library and student lounge, multipurpose room, different restaurants, and a food court. All undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (UAE) and audited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) of Australia. The university also offers residential services to students located in Jebel Ali Gardens.
